Full Time Day Shift
You Will Be Responsible For:
Communicates with courtesy when interacting with internal or external customers – in person or on the telephone.
Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.
Participates in hourly rounding for outcomes using the AIDET technique.
Incorporates Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice.

What You Will Need:
Requires working understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) and Windows 2000.
Ability to learn other computer software such as hospital’s E-Mail, clinical software (i.e., Laboratory software, Pharmacy software, etc.), purchasing software and Infection Control relational database software, EpiQuest and NHSN, (data entry and report generation).
Ability to work independently.
Understanding of medical terms.
Must possess a high level of communication through speech and written correspondence.
Must be familiar with safety terms and be able to follow discussions in reference to JC, ACHA, and HRS standards.
Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in Nursing or other health science degree, for example a medical technologist.
Two years’ in a clinical nurse capacity or clinical setting.
Responsible for development and administration of the facility-wide program for the surveillance, prevention, and control of infection under the direction of the Director. Acts as consultant, educator, and clinical practitioner to the hospital staff and licensed independent practitioners for all aspects of infection control. Has authority to administer policy and to take corrective actions when needed if policy is not followed.
