The role you’ll contribute:

The Learning Operations Quality Specialist will contribute to the Learning Operations team in using educational programming for team member recruitment, orientation, retention, and clinical excellence across all West Florida Division campuses. This clinical professional leads the Learning Operations team in ensuring all programs across all campuses are operating in a consistent and standardized manner to achieve all stated objectives and produce the highest quality outcomes. These responsibilities are across all phases of programming including development, execution, and continuous quality improvement. The Learning Operations Quality Specialist is responsible for identifying gaps and monitoring compliance with strategic objectives and/or regulatory requirements.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Responsible for the overall quality and consistency of all Learning Operations programs across nursing and non-nursing service lines. This includes, but is not limited to, preceptorship, mentorship, nurse residency, transition to acute-care nursing, respiratory therapy residency, diagnostic imaging advanced registry training, and laboratory, pharmacy, and surgery workforce development.

  • Leads or assists in the development, coordination, management, and facilitation of onboarding and orienting Learning Operations programs participants.

  • Validates desired outcomes and positive learning environment of all Learning Operations programs.

  • Oversees cost effectiveness through implementation of efficient orientation and/or onboarding practices across all programs and campuses.

  • Role models organizational and personal commitment to the success of Learning Operations programs.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Working knowledge of the appropriate accrediting body

  • Experience with Database Management System

  • Process improvement and/or change management skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing; or other clinical discipline such as, but not limited to, Radiography, Medical Laboratory Science, or Cardiopulmonary Science

  • Five years inpatient clinical experience

  • Two years education experience (hospital or academic setting)

  • Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement; or current Florida registration and licensure as other clinical discipline such as, but not limited to, those in Radiography, Medical Laboratory Science, or Cardiopulmonary Science

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

  • Certification in associated field within one year of hire
