Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Communicate with other departments to provide optimal care and operation of the hospital facilities to facilitate uninterrupted service to patients and to assure safe conditions of employment for staff members.

  • Must be a member of the Safety Team and Safety Utilities Committee.

  • Implements programs to maintain systems in accordance with regulations and administrative guidelines.

  • Maintains hospital systems in a safe, operational and energy efficient manner and ensure that all JCAHO, OSHA, AHCA and other regulation standards are met.

  • Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Must be proficient with computerized work order system and be able to pull reports to maintain efficient repairs and preventive maintenance program in accordance with city, state, OSHA, JCAHO, AHCA, and FL Hospital guidelines.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be proficient with computerized work order system and be able to pull reports to maintain efficient repairs and preventive maintenance program in accordance with city, state, OSHA, JCAHO, AHCA, and FL Hospital guidelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • Minimum High School/GED with associated work experience considered, with a minimum of five (5) years in management.

  • General Knowledge of Hospital maintenance areas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

B.S. Degree
