Part Time Evening
You Will Be Responsible For:
Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency
Maintains operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services provided
Supports regulatory compliance initiatives and supports institutional accreditation processes
Supports experiential training of pharmacy trainees in areas of expertise
Supports and participates in medication‐use process improvements led by colleagues and peers
What You Will Need:
High school degree
Registered Pharmacy Technician in their respective state
If applicable to facility Sterile Compounding Certification
Current certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or from the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICPT) (Preferred)
Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a physical science, business or healthcare
One year of Contemporary hospital pharmacy experience (Preferred)
Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care.
