You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Demonstrates through behavior Florida Hospitals Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organizations Performance Excellence Program.

  • Assists therapists/ assistants with assigned patients

  • Acts as a support to patient care and to the operations of the department

  • Maintains a safe environment for patients, co-workers, and visitors

  • Assists, teaches, and orients volunteers in the department with indirect patient care tasks


What You Will Need:

  • At least 6 months Therapy Services Department Volunteer experience preferred but not required

  • At least 1 year Therapy Technician experience preferred but not required

  • High School education or equivalent

  • Current BLS from American Heart Association

Job Summary:

Perform supportive tasks or routines to the delivery of patient care in the Therapy Services department under the direction of a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapy Assistant &/or Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant in accordance with the FPTA &/or FOTA standards.
