Location: Remote/hybrid (will need to conduct physician site visits in Sebring/Davenport/Lake Wales)

The role you’ll contribute: This position assumes a major role in assisting with, directing and tracking the recruitment of providers (physicians and/or APP’s) for the six AdventHealth campuses in the East Florida Region, AdventHealth Medical Group & AdventHealth. It also provides professional guidance and support for the selection, recruitment, and retention of providers in response to the needs of AdventHealth within the hospitals’ service area. Communicates regularly with AdventHealth system leadership, key campus administrators, service line administrators, operations directors, and recruitment personnel regarding the status and direction of candidates and opportunities, as well as practice leaders or office managers regarding strategies. Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned.

  • Recruiting in full spectrum cycle of physicians and APP’s into (mostly) employed practices in the West Florida Market

  • Conducts research by regularly meeting with leadership and management of the six AdventHealth Hospital campuses and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) to identify the need for additional or replacement providers. Assists the CEO, COO, CFO, CMO, service line Vice Presidents, Directors, Assistant Directors, and/or the Physician Strategy team with the development of a specific recruiting plan for each of the campuses or specialty institutes within AdventHealth’s geographic service area.

  • Proactively and consistently communicates the recruitment plan, process, and progress of each search with providers and management at the AdventHealth campuses and AdventHealth Medical Group.

  • Maintains a liaison relationship with other AdventHealth Departments and affiliated organizations. Seeks assistance and direction from the Executive Director and appropriate individuals when confronted with issues outside the scope of defined responsibilities.


Minimum qualifications :

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in health care required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in physician relations and/or physician network development is preferred.

  • Competency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet navigation is preferred.

  • Clear and consistent Communication both verbal and written is extremely important and preferred
