You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Serves as a member of the hospital’s executive team

  • Facilitates and provides strategic direction for the integrated planning and execution of hospital and service line marketing plans including advertising, marketing, community relations, special events, media, sponsorships, physician relations, customer service, internal communication, new business opportunities and market research

  • Utilizes market research data to support marketing strategy/integrated campaign development and maintaining competitor, consumer and physician information

  • Collaborates with the executive team to develop overall organization goals and objectives in the strategic and financial planning process

  • Works with the executive team to develop new business strategies to achieve organization and financial goals


What You Will Need:

  • 12+ years’ experience in healthcare marketing and communications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field

Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Network Development and Marketing reports directly to the Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for the Central Florida Division North Region with secondary reporting line to the President and Chief Executive Officer at Florida Hospital Waterman. He/She is responsible for direction of strategy and business development, marketing and advertising, and physician relations for Florida Hospital Waterman and the Lake County service area for Florida Hospital. The leader is responsible for developing and directing initiatives to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth through identification of long-term organizational goals, building of key relationships, exploration of new business opportunities and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. He/She will lead the Marketing and Communications team to achieve market, sales, and physician and employee engagement goals. Provides input into the development of policies and procedures, ensures all activities comply with hospital and outside regulatory agency standards. Ensures proper workflow and departmental productivity, adjusting staffing levels as required. Brings ideas, concerns and issues to the attention of the executive leadership and acts as a liaison for the department with executive leadership.
