You will be responsible for:
Prepares patient, exam room & verifies lab results (if required) for radiology procedures & assists physician during fluoroscopic exams.
Follows protocols and adjusts techniques as required to obtain optimal exam within ACR dose standards; performs acceptable positioning and properly annotates exam.
Use various types of radiology equipment such as c-arms, Cystoscopy, Fluoroscopy and digital radiology panels with care and safe practices.
Completes medical records according to policy and procedure and verifies accuracy of transmitted images to PACS or other designated electronic imaging system.
Safely transport patients via wheelchair, bed, stretcher or escorting ambulatory visitors/patients.
What You will need:
Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technologist program.
Minimum 2 years hospital-based radiology experience.
State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
BLS from American Heart Association
The role of the Radiologic Technologist is to perform examinations according to established protocols while rendering safe and compassionate patient care. The Radiologic Technologist assists the physician in performing procedures by utilizing the skills and equipment specific to their profession.
