You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Meets deadlines for established goals in an accurate, proactive and efficient manner for all aspects of project.

  • Focuses on process improvement strategies with special focus on financial outcomes in support of department and process initiatives.

  • Mentors and coach’s co-workers, as needed, appropriately and effectively as part of project management.

  • Works on multiple projects as required and balances priorities by taking ownership, coordinating, and planning all tasks and staff for the projects. Effectively documents work performed related to all aspects of project.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with intermediate accounting and upper level finance coursework

  • OR

  • Master’s degree in business administration is acceptable in lieu of bachelor’s plus 2 years of experience

  • Two years of experience in healthcare finance/accounting or a related field with specific emphasis on accounting practice, cost accounting, statistical analysis, budgeting, management decision making, reporting, or financial modeling

  • Ability to coordinate projects related to developing financial information for decision making

Preferred:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst interacts with senior management and department directors to provide relevant, accurate, and timely financial information. Performs research, collects data, and skillfully organizes and presents the analysis to management in written or oral format. Exercises objective, independent judgement in developing financial recommendations for management. Serves as a liaison to department directors in financial matters. Develops and trains staff in analyzing and organizing information into a coherent report, and to recommend and implement solutions based on this analysis; subject to the approval of management. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
