You Will Be Responsible For:
Provides guidance and oversight. Mentors team members on testing standards and best practices. Recommends improvements to processes that improve the effectiveness of the team. Manages intake requests for QA from the PMs.
Follows QA processes, standards, and best practices to test and implement software product development.
Oversees testing best practices and quality through all software testing cycles (unit, system, integration, end-to-end) through production implementation.
Tests all levels of web-based application complexity prior and post production implementation.
Analyzes and evaluates proposed technical requirements and functionality for impact to system.
Develops large scale testing strategy for manual and automated testing for large cross-team projects. Executes test plans for large cross-team projects. Identifies systems risks associated with proposed requirements and testing efforts to determine strategy and mitigation. Documents and manages Risk Assessment of technical project teams for pre-production. Develops, reviews, and approves test scripts for execution. Audits testing of software developers (unit and system) prior to Approval and production implementation. Tracks and manage identification and reporting of issues during testing to resolution. Troubleshoots and analyzed testing anomalies as they occur for root cause determination. Certifies requirements and testing prior to Change Control Committee Approval and production implementation. Partners with Change Control Committee to ensure all proposed changes are tested and appropriate Approval is communicated. Develops and updates end user documentation related to release, redesign and updates of systems and applications. Migrates. Monitors program moves into Prod during implementation
Facilitates and manages Large Scale Complex Testing Manages complex end to end process testing sessions.
What You Will Need:
Five years of experience working with Quality Assurance (QA) tools and processes
Five years of in depth experience of software testing methodology
Associate’s degree in Information Technology or functional equivalent
Experience in gathering and interpreting technical aspects of change and applying data to test plan and user documentation
Experience in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Information Technology (IT)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Knowledge of Software Testing Methodology (e.g. Agile, Smoke, Regression, Positive, Negative)
Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
The Quality Assurance Analyst – Senior oversees testing activities ensuring that the software product developed meets agreed requirements and specifications, providing technical guidance and oversight and acting as a point of escalation and QA expert. Responsible for ensuring traceability between requirements, specification, and the software product developed ensuring test execution is verifiable and adequate records are kept of the test process and the quality of the test effort. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all
