The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks under the regulatory guidelines of the LPN certificate. Responsible for chart management and assisting with appointment scheduling when required. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. May be assigned to specific medical specialty to help with patient care related to but not limited to surgical patients

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·Demonstrates the ability to assess and recognize changes in a patient status and to provide appropriate interventions in a timely manner.

·Carries out selected acts including administering of medications and treatments under the direction of a Physician or Advanced Practitioner

·Review lab results for needed provider action and follow up.

·Demonstrates the ability to assess and provide the necessary care to all patients under the direct supervision of the physician/advanced practitioner.

·Coordinates pre and post-operative procedures as required by specialty.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Completion of LPN program

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Active LPN license State of Florida, current BLS
